The purpose :
The recent advances in genomic and the always greater availability of complete genome sequence data stress the need of reliable techniques for in vivo analysis of genetic networks. With this aim in mind, the two French research agencies CNRS and INRA announce the creation of an initiative to ease the production of transgenic model animals for the scientific research community.
